A Typical Case Study of the Unique Competitiveness of World Famous Think Tanks and Its Enlightenment

摘要
Abstract
[Purpose/Significance]The construction of think tanks in China has developed rapidly in the new era,but it is also facing a significant challenge of"homogeneous expansion without unique competitiveness."The study primarily examines and synthesizes the construction principles of world-renowned think tanks,so as to provide necessary experience for think tanks in China to navigate this challenge.[Method/Process]Based on the theory of unique competitiveness,five typical think tanks with distinct characteristics are selected according to the think tank samples of the Global Think Tank Report 2020 of the University of Pennsylvania.It is supplemented by case analysis and qualitative comparison of other well-known think tanks of different types,and then summa-rizes the rules and methods of their construction.[Result/Conclusion]The methods and strategies employed by the world-renowned think tanks to cultivate their distinctive competitive advantage can be summarized as follows:The differentiation of think tanks through unique strategic positioning is a key objective;The establishment of a solid barrier is dependent on the utilization of exclusive and specific resources;The assurance of superior research quality hinges on the deployment of distinctive methodological innovation;The enhancement of the competitive advantage of the world-renowned think tanks is a crucial goal;The ability to adapt to unique environmental chang-es is essential for the creation of a development model;The comprehensive application of the aforementioned strategies is a fundamental objective.The exemplary experience and remarkable performance provide invaluable inspiration for the construction of think tanks in China.Primarily,creating unique ideological value is the foun-dation of first-class think tanks.Secondly,establishing unique system positioning is the soul of first-class think tanks;third,establishing unique system positioning is the soul of first-class think tanks.Thirdly,cultivating unique"technology"is the key to strengthen the"library"of first-class think tanks.Fourthly,cultivating unique scarce resources is the strategy to promote the"library"of first-class think tanks.Fifthly,innovating unique development model is the way to make the"library"of first-class think tanks famous.关键词
