Abstract
Objective To investigate the application effect of health education based on the information-motivation-behavioral skills(IMB)model combined with targeted psychological intervention in patients with liver cirrhosis.Methods A total of 152 liver cirrhosis patients treated at the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University,East Hospital from January to June 2023 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into two groups by drawing lots:76 patients in the control group received routine nursing measures for liver cirrhosis,and 76 patients in the observation group additionally received health education based on the IMB model combined with targeted psychological intervention.The self-care ability,anxiety,depression,medication adherence,and incidence of complications of two groups were compared.Results After 4 and 12 weeks of intervention,the scores of self-care skills,sense of responsibility,health knowledge,and Morisky Medication Adherence Scale of both groups were significantly higher than those at admission(P<0.05).The scores of the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and the Self-Rating Depression Scale were significantly lower than those at admission(P<0.05).Compared with the corresponding control group,the above scores of the observation group were significantly better(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications was compared between the two groups,which revealed a lower rate in the observation group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of health education based on the IMB model and targeted psychological intervention for patients with liver cirrhosis can effectively improve their self-care ability and medication adherence,alleviate their negative emotions,and help prevent the occurrence of complications.关键词
