Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of structured education and parent presence recovery program(PPRP)model in children undergoing urethroplasty.Methods From April to September 2023,Renji Hospital,Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine received 112 children who underwent urethroplasty under caudal block combined with general anesthesia.They were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table,with 56 cases in each group.The control group received routine perioperative nursing,while the observation group received preoperative structured education and postoperative PPRP model based on the routine perioperative nursing.The agitation tendency,pain intensity,incidence of adverse events of children,and satisfaction of caregivers were compared between the two groups.Results At 10,20,and 30 min after entering the postanesthesia care unit(PACU),the scores of the Pediatric Anesthesia Emergence Delirium Scale and the Faces,Legs,Activity,Cry,and Consolability Scale in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse events during PACU emergence in the observation group was slightly lower than that in the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).On the 2nd day after surgery,the satisfaction score of caregivers in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Preoperative structured education and postoperative PPRP model can alleviate the agitation and pain in children undergoing urethroplasty,reduce the incidence of adverse events,and improve the caregiver satisfaction.关键词
