Abstract

Objective:To investigate the variations in volatile components among different parts of Ficus stenophylla.Methods:After low-temperature grinding treatment,samples from various parts of Ficus stenophylla were subjected to headspace solid-phase microex-traction gas chromatography mass spectrometry(HS-SPME-GC-MS)for the extraction and analysis of their volatile components.Qualita-tive identification of these volatile components was performed using similarity searches and retention index methods.Furthermore,rela-tive content of each component was calculated using peak area normalization.Lastly,differences in the composition of different parts were investigated using clustering heatmaps,principal component analysis(PCA)and partial least squares-discriminant analysis(PLS-DA).Results:A total of 104 volatile components were detected across various parts of Ficus stenophylla,with 60,20,36 and 42 volatile components detected in the adventitious roots,primary roots,stems and leaves,respectively.Eight common volatile components were i-dentified among these four parts,predominantly comprising terpenoids.Cluster heatmap analysis revealed that stems and primary roots clustered together,while leaves and adventitious roots formed distinct clusters.PLS-DA analysis identified 28 components as key differ-entiating factors for distinguishing between different parts of Ficus stenophylla.Conclusion:Differences in the types and quantities of vol-atile components are observed across various parts of Ficus stenophylla.The study provides robust evidence and support for the in-depth exploration and utilization of Ficus stenophylla resources,while also opening up new possibilities for research and applications in related fields.
