Abstract
Objective To analyze the effect of negative emotional characteristics and chemotherapy adherence on chemotherapy efficacy in gastric cancer patients.Methods A total of 283 gastric cancer patients admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from March 2020 to July 2023 were included as the research subjects.According to the chemotherapy efficacy,they were assigned into the objective remission group and the stable or progressive group.The negative emotional characteristics,chemotherapy adherence,and clinical data of the two groups were compared,and the factors with statistically significant differences between the two groups were included in a multivariate logistic regression model to summarize the relevant factors that affect the chemotherapy efficacy of patients.Results Among the 283 patients,133 patients met the objective remission criteria after 2 cycles of chemotherapy,with an objective remission rate of 47.00％.The objective remission group had lower scores on the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)before chemotherapy compared with the stable or progressive group(P<0.05).Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in tumor stage,SAS score,SDS score,and chemotherapy adherence between the objective remission group and the stable or progressive group(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that stageⅢ～Ⅳ tumor,SAS score≥50,SDS score≥53,and poor chemotherapy adherence were independent risk factors affecting the chemotherapy efficacy of gastric cancer patients(P<0.05).Conclusion Some patients with gastric cancer have obvious anxiety and depression and poor chemotherapy adherence,while the exacerbation of negative emotions,poor chemotherapy adherence,and increased tumor stage are all associated with a decrease in chemotherapy efficacy.关键词
