Abstract
Objective To explore the application value of mind mapping guided health education in lung cancer patients.Methods Ninety lung cancer patients who received chemotherapy in the Respiratory Department of Renji Hospital,Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from December 2021 to December 2023 were enrolled and divided into two groups based on different nursing methods.Forty-five patients who received routine verbal education intervention were set as the control group,and 45 patients who received mind mapping guided health education intervention were set as the observation group.The treatment compliance,negative emotions,and pulmonary function indicators before and after intervention were compared between the two groups.Results The overall treatment compliance rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).On the day of discharge and after 3 months of intervention,the forced vital capacity(FVC),maximal voluntary ventilation(MVV),and forced expiratory volume in 1 second(FEV1)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the levels of the above indicators in both groups were significantly increased compared with those at admission(P<0.05).On the day of discharge and after 3 months of intervention,the Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05),and the scores of both groups were significantly decreased compared with those at admission(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of mind mapping guided health education in lung cancer patients can effectively improve the treatment compliance,alleviate the negative emotions,and promote the pulmonary function recovery.关键词
