Abstract
Objective To investigate the effectiveness of graded nursing guided by pediatric early warning score for the children with febrile seizures in their care, and evaluate the improvement of related clinical symptoms using this method. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the general data of children with febrile seizures admitted to Tongji Hospital,Tongji Medical College,Huazhong University of Science and Technology from January 2021 to January 2023.A total of 104 children were selected for routine nursing and graded nursing guided by pediatric early warning score.Among them,53 children received routine nursing and were set as the control group.Fifty-one children received graded nursing guided by pediatric early warning score and were set as the observation group. The disappearance time of clinical symptoms, changes in body temperature, and parental care ability between the two groups were compared. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group demonstrated shorter duration of seizures, binocular gaze time, and first-aid time and demonstrated earlier temperature recovery time and seizure disappearance time(P<0.05).After 30 min,1 h,and 6 h of intervention, the body temperature of children in both groups decreased compared with that when they were admitted(P<0.05).The observation group demonstrated lower body temperature compared with that of the control group(P<0.05).At discharge, the nursing ability scores of parents in both groups improved compared with when they were admitted(P<0.05),and the score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Graded nursing guided by pediatric early warning score can improve the clinical symptoms of children with febrile seizures and their parents'nursing abilities, and contribute to the recovery of normal body temperature in children.关键词
