Study on Raw Material Source of Commercially Available Angong Niuhuang Pills Based on Bionic Electronic Nose Technology

Abstract
Objective:To study the differences of volatile components in Angong Niuhuang Pills caused by the same use of natural raw materials and artificial raw materials,and to quickly distinguish the raw material sources of Angong Niuhuang Pills by bionic elec-tronic nose technology.Methods:33 batches of commercially available samples of Angong Niuhuang Pills were collected.According to the sources of Bovis Calculus and Moschus,the samples were divided into three groups:double natural samples,single natural samples and double artificial samples.The contents of bilirubin,baicalin and berberine hydrochloride were determined by HPLC.Headspace gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(HS-GC-MS)method was used to detect the volatile compounds in the samples,and orthogonal par-tial least squares discriminant analysis(OPLS-DA)was used to screen the differential compounds,and the correlation between the vola-tile compounds of Angong Niuhuang Pills and its raw material source was discussed.The bionic electronic nose technology was used to detect the overall odor characteristics of Angong Niuhuang Pills,and the raw material source of Angong Niuhuang Pills was identified by OPLS-DA.Results:The quality of 33 batches of commercially available samples of Angong Niuhuang Pills met the pharmacopoeia re-quirements.A total of 24 volatile components were detected from the samples,and 9 potential compounds were screened out.Based on the electronic nose data,the three kinds of samples were successfully distinguished by OPLS-DA.Conclusion:The bionic electronic nose technology can be used to distinguish the different raw materials of Angong Niuhuang Pills.关键词
