Study on the Participation Mechanisms of Social Forces in the Conservation of the Beijing Central Axis

Abstract
The article focuses on the Beijing Central Axis to discuss participation mechanisms of social forces in cultural heritage conservation.Based on the characteristics and current state of public participation,it constructs a multidimensional analytical framework,revealing a cooperative model of social forces in this ultra-large-scale urban heritage conservation project.The study finds that the public participation in Beijing Central Axis is characterized by a government-led approach combined with active engagement from a diverse range of public groups.By establishing an analytical framework that includes participating groups,participation activities,and degrees of participation,the paper examines the specific mechanisms through which different social forces contribute in areas such as preservation and management,academic research,local interactions,relevant activities,and public dissemination.It reveals remarkable effectiveness in spreading heritage value,as well as in enhancing public awareness and preservation consciousness.The study also points out that although by far,public participation has achieved certain results,in order to continue to stimulate participation enthusiasm and promote sustainable conservation and development of the Beijing Central Axis in the"post-World Heritage inscription era",there are still needs to establish effective value dissemination mechanisms,optimize information transmission and feedback processes,further empower social forces,and strengthen institutional construction.关键词
