Abstract
Objective To analyze the application effect of stepwise psychological nursing and cognitive-behavioral intervention in patients with sudden deafness.Methods Ninety-four patients with sudden deafness who visited Yancheng First Hospital Affiliated of Nanjing University Medical College from January 2022 to January 2024 were enrolled and allocated into the observation group(47 cases)and the control group(47 cases)using simple random sampling.Both groups received routine nursing and stepwise psychological nursing,while the observation group additionally received cognitive-behavioral intervention.The recovery of the two groups was compared.Results After 4 weeks of intervention,the observation group had lower scores on the 7-item Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale,Patient Health Questionnaire-9,Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire,and Symptom Checklist-90 than the control group(P<0.05),and both groups demonstrated decreased scores in comparison with their pre-intervention levels(P<0.05).The level of air-conduction threshold in the observation group was lower than that in the control group after 1,2,and 4 weeks of intervention(P<0.05).The total effective rate of hearing recovery in the observation group was higher than that in the control group after 4 weeks of intervention(P<0.05).Conclusion Stepwise psychological nursing and cognitive-behavioral intervention can improve the psychological state of patients with sudden deafness,enhance the illness perception,alleviate the clinical symptoms,and promote the recovery of air-conduction threshold level and hearing.关键词
