Research on the Characteristics and Value of the Serial Properties of the Inner-migrating Universities in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression
摘要
Abstract
The heritage of the Inner-migrating Universities in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression was a witness to the relocation of Chinese higher education institutions from coastal and riverside areas to inland areas in order to avoid the war and preserve the continuity of education.These institutions serve as vital witnesses to the resilience of higher education during the war,as well as important carriers for telling the history of these universities,promoting university spirit,passing on red culture,and inspiring social education.Thus,this paper investigates the current preservation status of these wartime universities,draws lessons from the theoretical framework of"Serial Properties",proposes the concept of"Serial Properties of the Inner-migrating Universities in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression"across regions,and analyzes its characteristics in spatial distribution,campus layout,architectural design and spirit,and then extracts its core heritage values in continuing China's higher education,contribution to the national mission,and promotion of cooperation between universities and local communities.关键词
