摘要
Abstract
Pregabalin,as a structural analogue of a new neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid(GABA),affects the central nervous system by reducing the release of various neurotransmitters,therefore achieves the effect of regulating mood,relieving anxiety and alleviating pain.The drug is characterized by fast absorption and high bioavailability.In 2021,the Committee for Veterinary Medicinal Products(CVMP)of EMA approved the use of pregabalin for the treatment of anxiety and fear in cats,marking the first application of this drug in dogs,cats,and other pets.In recent years,research on the mechanism of action and pharmacokinetic characteristics of pregabalin,clinical application in dogs and cats and veterinary dosage forms has been extensively conducred abroad.This paper reviews the progress of relevant research,aiming to promote the development and application of pregabalin in China.关键词
