摘要

Abstract

To enhance the quality of green development in China's urban areas and expedite the progress towards sustainable devel-opment goals,a pivotal strategy lies in fostering the profound integration and synergistic evolution between the levels of green develop-ment and resilience within cities.This aligns with the objectives of accelerating the construction of an ecological civilization and bolste-ring cities'resilience against various challenges.The present research endeavors to assess and analyze the degree of coupling and coordi-nation between the green development level and resilience of 270 Chinese cities,utilizing data spanning from 2003 to 2019.Further-more,spatial econometric models are employed to delve into the influencing factors and their spatial effects.The results showed that:①From an average perspective,there has been a notable improvement in the coupling coordination degree between resilience and green de-velopment levels across the 270 cities studied,from the resistance phase(2003-2008)to the recovery period(2008-2019).② From the disparity angle,the Dagum spatial Gini coefficient exhibits a declining trend from the resistance era to the recovery period.The cou-pling coordination status varies by region,with the eastern region demonstrating the highest degree,while the northeastern and western regions lag behind.Among cities of different administrative levels,the coupling coordination degree for ordinary prefecture-level cities is substantially lower than that of cities with higher administrative statuses.Additionally,for cities of varying sizes,the coupling coordi-nation degree generally decreases as city size diminishes.③ From a subsystem perspective,the coupling coordination degree of the so-cial subsystem has been decreasing rather than increasing,whereas the average coupling coordination degree of the ecological and eco-nomic subsystems has improved.④ The economic level,environmental protection measures,openness to the outside world,industrial structure,financial development,technological investment,fiscal self-sufficiency,and further openness are all significant positive direct influences on the degree of coupling coordination.
