Research progress on domestic and international tourism service trade

Abstract
Tourism service trade constitutes a significant component of international service trade and holds a critical position in global service trade balance,as well as in China's service tourism trade.From 2012 to 2019,China ranked first in tourism service trade imports,with a continuously expanding tourism trade deficit.Tourism service trade encompasses various modes of provision,including in-ternational tourism and cross-border tourism investments,playing a pivotal role in promoting national economic development,cultural exchange,and enhancing mutual trust.However,the growing significance of tourism service trade has not attracted corresponding aca-demic attention.Based on a review of domestic and international literature,this paper seeks to outline the research paradigms of tourism service trade from three dimensions:research subjects,research themes,and research methods.It further discusses key research areas in five aspects:theoretical validation,influencing factors,impact effects,trade competitiveness,and trade balance.This paper finds that theoretical research on tourism service trade remains insufficient,with the research framework yet to be fully developed.There is a need for unified conceptual definitions and statistical standards,and the scope of research content and perspectives requires expansion.关键词
