Abstract
Objective To investigate the application effect of early warning of critical values combined with phased nursing in patients with diabetic ketoacidosis(DKA).Methods Ninety-six patients presenting with DKA in the Department of Emergency of Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital Group Suqian Hospital from March 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into 2 groups by the use of a random number table:48 patients in the control group received routine nursing methods, and 48 patients in the observation group received early warning of critical values combined with phased nursing.A comparison was conducted between the two groups in regard to blood glucose, acidosis parameters, recovery time, and incidence of complications. Results After 5 days of nursing, the fasting plasma glucose(FPG)and 2-h postprandial glucose(2hPG)levels in both groups were lower than those before nursing and after 3 days of nursing(P<0.05).The pH value, bicarbonate ion(HCO3-),and carbon dioxide combining power(CO2 CP)levels were higher than those before nursing and after 3 days of nursing(P<0.05).After 3 days of nursing, the levels of the above parameters in both groups were better than those before nursing(P<0.05).After 3 and 5 days of nursing, the levels of the above parameters in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The time for acidosis correction, time for ketone body turning negative, length of hospital stay, and time for blood glucose control in the observation group were all shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications during hospitalization in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of early warning of critical values and phased nursing can effectively reduce the blood glucose level of DKA patients, improve the level of acidosis parameters, reduce the incidence of complications, and shorten the recovery time.关键词
