Abstract
Due to the inferior quality of crude oil processed by refineries in China,some refineries have ex-cessive salt content after removal,oil drainage,operation fluctuations,and then lead to salt formation and corro-sion of the distillation unit tower top system,catalyst poisoning of heavy oil processing unit,and difficult treat-ment of dirty oil and sewage.The bad operation of electric desalination directly affects the safe and stable opera-tion of the refinery and the standard of energy saving and environmental protection.However,domestic desalting design is mostly based on empirical data and assumptions,lack of mechanism research guidance,there are some misunderstanding.The coalescence of water droplets under electrostatic field was studied by means of high-speed microscopic observation and numerical simulation.It was concluded that the coalescence of water droplets can be completed in a short time,and the oil-water emulsion did not need to stay in the electric field for a long time.The key was to ensure a high enough electric field strength and smooth flow of oil through the electric field.Based on this,the enhanced electric field desalting technology was developed,and the operation effect of desalting was improved by comprehensive use of new electrode structure,oil inlet distributor and power compen-sation control.The application in many industrial plants showed that the desalination effect of enhanced electric field desalination technology was better than that of traditional AC/DC desalination or high-speed desalination,the drainage water quality was improved,the power consumption was significantly reduced,and the removal effect of metal sodium was improved.关键词
