摘要

Abstract

Objective Comparison of sedative,hypnotic and anxiolytic effects of Schisandra chinensis root,stem,leaf and fruit polysaccharides by behavioural tests in mice.Methods To detect the effects of Schisandra chinensis root,stem,leaf and fruit polysaccharides on voluntary activity,sleep rate,sleep duration and behavioral studies in the elevated plus maze and elevated zero maze in mice.Results In the sedative test,root,stem and fruit polysaccharides showed a good sedative effect.In the hypnotic test,root,stem,leaf and fruit polysaccharides demonstrated some hypnotic effect,with the effect of stem and fruit polysaccharides being stronger,followed by root polysaccharide,and lastly leaf polysaccharide.In the anxiolytic test,root,stem,leaf and fruit polysaccharides exhibited a good anxiolytic effect,with the effect of root polysaccharide being stronger,followed by stem polysaccharide,and lastly fruit polysaccharide.Conclusion Polysaccharides from the root,stem,leaf and fruit of Schisandra chinensis exhibit sedative,hypnotic and anxiolytic effects,with the stem and fruit polysaccharides demonstrating more significant effects.
