Cultural Writing of Hometown:A Study on the Poetry Collection of Juchao
摘要
Abstract
Juchao,the ancient name for Chaoxian County in Anhui Province,has been a strategically contested location since ancient times.Frequent wars have led to severe damage and destruction of historical records and literatures.Scholar Liu Yuandao compiled the Poetry Collection of Juchao in ten volumes,based on the Juchao Poetry Compilation by an earlier local scholar Zhou Jianxi.This collection includes over 3 000 poems from more than 200 poets from Juchao during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,making it the most comprehensive anthology of local literary works.The Poetry Collection of Juchao was meticulously compiled and researched.While prioritizing the preservation of poets'information,it also considers the preservation of their poems.It provides a wealth of local poetry resources for future generations and possesses significant literary value.From a regional culture and literature perspective,the poems of the poets preserved in the Poetry Collection of Juchao contain abundant cultural information with local characteristics,offering a rich array of samples and cultural insights for the literary and poetic history of Juchao and even the areas around Chaohu.关键词
