A Study on the Authorship of the Unearthed"Li Zhongchang's Epitaph"Attributed to the Famous Poet Wang Jian
摘要
Abstract
Due to the scarcity of related literature,few scholars have conducted in-depth research on whether the"Li Zhongchang's Epitaph",unearthed in Xuying Village of Yichuan County,Henan Province,in August 2001,was written by Wang Jian,the renowned poet of the Mid-Tang Dynasty.Consequently,this question remains unresolved.By examining the relationship between the poet Wang Jian and the tomb owner,the relationship between the epitaph's author and the tomb owner,the timeline of Wang Jian's service in the Wei Bo military government,and the time of the epitaph's composition,as well as Wang Jian's official career,it can be basically concluded that the author of the epi-taph is indeed Wang Jian,the Mid-Tang poet.This epitaph is his only prose writing discovered to date.The unearthed epitaph holds significant academic value for the study of Wang Jian,the ancient prose movement of the Tang Dynasty,and the history of the Tang Dynasty,particularly the history of the military governors in Hebei Province.关键词
