《素食者》的伦理学批评路径
The Ethical Criticism Path of The Vegetarian
摘要
Abstract
In 2024,Han Kang won the Nobel Prize in Literature for her novel The Vegetarian,becoming the first Korean author to receive this honor.The protagonist Yeong-hye,started to revolt her family through vegetarianism,then found herself in the world of beauty through body painting,and finally hoped to transform into a tree.From the perspective of literary ethics,this process could be interpreted through three paths:renouncing social ethics,passing through aesthetic ethics,and ultimately returning to ecological ethics.These three paths progress step by step,depicting Yeong-hye’s journey from enduring domestic violence to awakening her self-awareness and finally finding her home in nature.This process also highlights the multi-dimensional value of The Vegetarian in literary ethics criticism and Han Kang’s ethical choices.关键词
