Abstract

With the construction of railway lines in sandstorm areas in China,the safety issues of their operational systems have become increasingly prominent.To ensure the safety of railway operational systems in sandstorm areas in China,a model for evaluating safety resilience was proposed.First,by integrating the Pressure-State-Response(P-S-R)model and starting from the dimensions of railway operation system and resilience attributes through literature search and index screening,an evaluation index system for safety resilience of railway operational systems in sandstorm areas was constructed,including the secondary indices of pressure resilience,state resilience,and response resilience,as well as the tertiary indices such as wind erosion and climatic erosive force,dune activation index,and sand transport potential.Second,the Grey Relational Analysis method was used to improve the G1 method,and combined weights were obtained by combining the entropy weight method and the minimum information entropy principle.The evaluation of safety resilience of railway operations in sandstorm areas was conducted using the theory of extension cloud models.Finally,practical operational lines of Lanzhou-Wulumuqi Railway,Baotou-Lanzhou Railway,and Qinghai-Tibet Railway were selected,and the comprehensive cloud membership degrees of 5 sections to be evaluated were calculated,of which the results were Level II,Level III,Level III,Level IV,and Level III,respectively.It also proposed targeted safety resilience enhancements in the context of the pressure,state,and response dimensions.The research results show that the safety resilience of railway operations in sandstorm areas can be constructed based on the P-S-R model.The secondary indicator that most significantly affects the safety resilience of railway operations in sandstorm areas is mainly response resilience,which should be given significant attention.The resilience evaluation model for railway operation safety in sandstorm areas based on the theory of extension cloud models solved the problem of lack of fuzziness and randomness in the evaluation process.The index system and evaluation methods established in this study provide a reference for further research on the safety resilience of railway operations in sandstorm areas.
