The Planning Strategies for the Clustered Development of Villages in Suzhou

Abstract
The comprehensive reform of urban-rural integration in Suzhou has cultivated a series of distinct village clusters.Against the backdrop of rural revitalization,Suzhou's rural areas are endowed with new values and functions.However,the traditional single-village development and planning models to some extent fail to address issues such as industrial homogenization,making them insufficient to meet the current development needs of rural Suzhou.Therefore,the village cluster development model offers a new approach for the development of the villages in Suzhou.This paper,based on the understanding on the concept of village cluster development,explores the developmental foundation of Suzhou's village clusters and proposes the planning and formulation strategies from five aspects of value clustering,function clustering,resource clustering,spatial clustering,and governance clustering.关键词
