Abstract

The silt particles are fine and the specific surface area is large.In order to make the silt into fluid solidified soil,there are generally two methods:adding water-reducing agent and increasing the moisture content of the silt(while changing the dosage of curing agent).In order to compare the difference between the two methods,the flow and strength characteristics of the fluid solidified soil are studied for increasing moisture content method under the condition that the water content is from 80%to 140%and the curing agent dosage is from 3%to 7%.As for the water-reducing agent method,three kinds of superplasticizers with different dispersion mechanism,namely naphthalene series superplasticizer(FDN),aliphatic series superplasticizer(AS)and polycarboxylic acid series superplasticizer(PC-H2),are used to analyze the action mechanism of different superplasticizers on fluid solidified soil by combining liquid limit and plastic limit,particle size curve and SEM test.The working performance is evaluated by combining the fluidity and unconfined compressive strength,and the cost estimation is carried out to compare the cost-performance ratios of the two preparation methods.The results show that the water-reducing agent method can significantly improve the working performance of fluid solidified soil compared with the method of increasing moisture content.The cost of increasing moisture content method is the lowest,and the cost-performance ratio of PC-H2 is the highest in the water-reducing agent method.The cost-performance ratio of AS is close to that of FDN.It is suggested that increasing moisture content method should be used to prepare fluid solidified soil under the premise of not affecting project quality.
