摘要

Abstract

Feline infectious peritonitis virus(FIPV),a member of the genus Coronavirus,is a pathogen that causes feline infectious peritonitis(FIP).FIPV infection poses a great threat to the health of cats.Elucida-tion of FIPV genetic variation and immunogenicity of major antigen proteins is of great significance for the prevention and control of FIP.The present study amplified S and 3c genes of four FIPV strain isolated from Shanxi province,analyzed the homology and genetic evolution characteristics of FIPV Shanxi strains.The results showed that the S gene similarity among the four FIPV Shanxi strains was 89.6%to 91.9%,and the similarity with the published type Ⅰ feline coronavirus(FCoV)was 85.9%to 92.7%.The similarity of 3c gene among FIPV Shanxi strains was 91.5%to 95.3%,and the similarity with the published type ⅠFCoV reference strains was 90.9%to 95.9%.The genetic and evolutionary analysis of S and 3c genes showed that all the four FIPV Shanxi strains belonged to the type Ⅰ FCoV.FIPV S protein was expressed,purified and used to immunize Balb/c mice.Indirect ELISA was used to detect the anti-FIPV-S protein anti-body in mice.The results showed that FIPV S protein had good immunogenicity,which provided an impor-tant scientific basis for the diagnosis and prevention of FIPV infection.
