摘要

Abstract

A rabbit KOA model based on worn joints was established,which was compared with two classi-cal traumatic modeling methods to provide a new choice for constructing a suitable animal model of KOA.Eighteen adult male New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into modified Hulth group(n=6),ACLT combined MMT group(n=6)and joint wear group(n=6).After surgical modeling,skin temperature,be-havioral score,ELISA,imaging,blood routine examination,apparent observation and histopathological ex-amination were evaluated at each time point.Compared with the other two classical modeling methods,the behavioral scores of the joint wear group were significantly higher than those of the other groups except for 14 days(P<0.05).WBC and Mankin's scores were significantly higher than those of other groups(P<0.05);Imaging examination and apparent observation showed serious articular surface wear,cartilage loss,and obvious exposure of subchondral bone.Serum BALT and BGP levels of experimental rabbits at 14 and 28 days were significantly higher than those of other groups(P<0.05),PICP levels at 28 days were signif-icantly higher than those of improved Hulth group(P<0.05),and bone metabolism showed a high conver-sion type.Using joint wear method to establish rabbit KOA model has the advantages of stability,short modeling period and easy operation,which is conducive to the study of the etiology and pathological mecha-nism of KOA.
