Abstract
Objective:To analyze the clinical effect and application value of endoscopic surgery via transoral and submental combined approach in the treatment of early papillary thyroid carcinoma.Methods:The clinical data of 105 patients with papillary thy-roid carcinoma admitted from Jan.2021 to Dec.2023 were retrospectively analyzed,and the patients were divided into endoscopic group(n=44)and open group(n=61)according to the surgical method.The clinical data,operative outcomes,postoperative complications,and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results:The operation time in the endoscopic group was longer than that in the open group[162.50(135,180)min vs.90.00(75,96.5)min,P<0.05)],the total hospitalization cost of the endoscopic group was higher than that of the open group[18 313.29(17 452.75,19 199.62)yuan vs.16 265.66(14 894.11,17 636.50)yuan(P<0.05)],the incidence of short-term and long-term complications in the endoscopic group was lower than that in the open group(P<0.05),and in the postoperative follow-up,the endoscopic group achieved significantly better cosmetic outcomes(95.45%vs.52.46%,P<0.05)and higher surgical satisfaction(90.91%vs.62.30%,P<0.05).Conclusions:Transoral and submental com-bined endoscopic surgery is a safe and feasible surgical method,which not only achieves favorable clinical outcomes,but also conceals incisions to achieve good cosmetic results,reduces the occurrence of complications,brings better benefits to patients,and has good clini-cal application value,but it is associated with longer operative time and higher costs.关键词
