摘要

Abstract

Zinc cadmium sulfide(ZnCdS)is widely used as a bimetallic sulfide solid solution in photo-catalysis,however,it still has the problems of limited light absorption range and inefficient separation of photogenerated electron-hole pairs in practical applications.In this paper,the structural prop-erties of ZnCdS solid solution,diversified preparation methods and innovative modification strate-gies are introduced in detail.A series of studies have demonstrated that the modification of ZnCdS solid solution by means of microscopic morphology modification,constructing heterojunction and defect engineering can effectively broaden the light absorption range of ZnCdS materials and pro-mote the separation of photogenerated electron-hole pairs,thus significantly enhancing the photo-catalytic efficiency.Meanwhile,the key factors affecting the photocatalytic performance of ZnCdS are systematically analysed,and its practical applications and remarkable results in key fields such as environmental treatment and energy conversion are elaborated.It provides an important reference and guidance for the future research and application of this material.
