Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness and significance of combined CT three-dimensional reconstruction and musculoskeletal ultrasound in localizing surgical sites for multiple rib fractures.Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 110 patients with multiple rib fractures,randomly divided into two groups of 55.The control group underwent CT-based three-dimensional reconstruction for localization,while the observation group received combined localization techniques.Perioperative indicators,surface localization accuracy,and postoperative pain levels were compared between the two groups.Results:The observation group showed significantly better perioperative indicators,including less intraoperative bleeding and smaller incision size,compared to the control group(P<0.05).Pain scores on postoperative day 2 and day 3 were also lower in the observation group.Surface localization accuracy was markedly higher in the observation group at 90.91%(x2=8.800,P<0.05).Conclusion:The combined use of CT three-dimensional reconstruction and musculoskeletal ultrasound improves surface localization accuracy in multiple rib fracture surgeries,reduces complications and postoperative pain,and offers superior clinical outcomes.
