Investment Evaluation Analysis of Independent Electrochemical Energy Storage Power Station Based on Full Life Cycle

Abstract
In the process of investing in and constructing energy storage projects,how to balance reliability,safety,and cost-effectiveness in selecting appropriate energy storage technology solutions has become an important research topic.This paper firstly models and analyzes the costs and revenues over the entire lifecycle of an electrochemical energy storage power station,clarifying the composition of the costs and revenues.Then,using an independent energy storage project in Guangdong province as a case study,the economic viability of the energy storage investment is analyzed,and potential risk factors in the investment process are discussed.The results show that for an electrochemical energy storage station with an initial investment of 200 million yuan,annual revenues from multiple sources such as new energy leasing,spot market trading,frequency modulation,and capacity compensation,the cumulative net present value(NPV)over a 10 year operational period is expected to reach 86.919 3 million yuan,indicating the economic feasibility of this investment decision.The findings of this study can provide important reference for the formulation of energy storage policies in various regions and offer data support for investment decisions of independent energy storage project investors,helping them gain a comprehensive understanding of the cost and revenue structure throughout the lifecycle of energy storage systems and further evaluate the commercial value of independent energy storage projects.关键词
