Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect of health management under the role of the trans-theoretical model of behavior on oral health of patients with chronic periodontal disease,and to observe the effect of this management model on oral health self-efficacy,oral health behavior,oral health status and improvement of life quality in oral health of patients with chronic periodontal disease.Methods:A total of 98 patients with chronic periodontal disease admitted to The First Affiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical University from January 2020 to October 2023 were selected and divided into an observation group(n=50)and a conventional group(n=48)according to the random number table method.The conventional group was given routine health management,and the observation group was given health management under the role of he role of the trans-theoretical model of behavior.After 3 months of intervention,the oral health self-efficacy,oral health status and oral health quality of life of the two groups were compared and evaluated.Results:After the intervention,the oral health self-efficacy scores of the observation group was higher than that of the conventional group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05);the ratios of using vibratory brushing,brushing 3 times·d-1,and brushing time≥3 min the observation group was higher than that of the conventional group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05);the gingival index,soft scale index and gingival sulcus bleeding index in the observation group was lower than that of the regular group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05);the scores of oral health quality of life in the in the observation group were lower than those in the conventional group,with statistical significance.Conclusion:Implementing health management under the role of the trans-theoretical model of behavior during the treatment of chronic periodontal disease can improve patients'oral health self-efficacy,correct their oral health care behavior,and improve their oral health status and oral health quality of life.关键词
