摘要

Abstract

The contact is one of the core components inside the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber.Studying the surface ablation phenomenon of the contact and calculating the ablation area have an important impact on optimizing the structure and performance of the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber and extending its service life.This paper proposes a method to calculate the surface ablation area of the contacts.This method is based on image processing technology,using pixel statistics,threshold segmentation,and area calculation methods to calculate the ablation area of contact ablation images in different color systems.Then,5 sets of test piece comparison images are used to perform image grayscale,image filtering,and edge enhancement in sequence to verify and improve the calculation accuracy.The experimental results show that image processing techniques can improve the accuracy of burn area calculation in the RGB,HSI,HSL,and HSV color systems.In addition,extracting the V plane in the HSV color system and using Gaussian filtering and Highlight Details convolution processing,the calculated ablation area accuracy of the test pieces and contact surface is relatively high.
