摘要

Abstract

[Objective]The genome size of Sapindus delavayi was determined to provide the important basis for the whole genome sequencing of S.delavayi and the genome size evaluation of other species in Sapindus.[Method]The genomic features of S.delavayi was evaluated by flow cytometry and K-mer analysis prior to a comprehensive and in-depth genome sequencing.[Result]The genome size of S.delavayi was estimated to be 450 Mb by flow cytometry.K-mer analysis predicted that the genome size of S.delavayi was 331.04 Mb,with a heterozygosity of 1.67%and the repetitive sequences accounting for approximately 40.0%.The GC content was about 36.57%.Its genome was a diploid genome with low repetition and high heterozygosity.[Conclusion]The genome of S.delavayi is a diploid genome with low repetition and high heterozygosity.
