Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical advantages of sequential cryotherapy and argon plasma coagulation(APC)com-bined with local drug administration via electronic bronchoscopy in the treatment of granulomatous proliferative bronchial tu-berculosis.Methods Eighty patients with granulomatous proliferative bronchial tuberculosis admitted to the Department of Respiratory Medicine at our hospital from March 2021 to March 2024 were selected and assigned to two groups based on dif-ferent treatment regimens,with 40 cases in each group.Both groups received local drug administration prior to the comple-tion of cryotherapy.The control group underwent electronic bronchoscopic cryotherapy alone,while the observation group received sequential electronic bronchoscopic cryotherapy and APC.Clinical efficacy was compared between the two groups.Results The observation group exhibited a significantly higher clinical overall response rate[97.50%(39/40)]and total le-sion absorption rate[95.00%(38/40)]compared to the control group[80.00%(32/40)and 75.00%(30/40),respective-ly;χ2=6.135,6.275;P<0.05].Procalcitonin(PCT)levels(0.54±0.12 ng/mL)and C-reactive protein(CRP)levels(3.08±1.02 mg/L)in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(0.72±0.23 ng/mL and 4.16±1.05 mg/L,respectively;t=4.388,4.666,respectively;P<0.05).No significant difference was observed in complication rates between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Sequential cryotherapy and APC combined with local drug administration via electronic bronchoscopy improves clinical efficacy in patients with granulomatous proliferative bron-chial tuberculosis,promotes lesion absorption and inflammatory factor reduction,and demonstrates high safety.关键词
