Abstract
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of salbutamol combined with budesonide nebulization in children with asthma and pneumonia.Methods A total of 100 children with asthma and pneumonia admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to January 2024 were selected and randomly assigned to a control group and an observation group,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with salbutamol nebulization,while the observation group was treated with a combi-nation of salbutamol and budesonide nebulization.The improvement of clinical features after 7 days of treatment and the changes in C-reactive protein(CRP)and procalcitonin(PCT)levels were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the observation group showed significant reductions in the time taken for cough relief,resolution of dyspnea,dis-appearance of rales,and disappearance of wheezing sounds compared to the control group(P<0.05).Additionally,the lev-els of CRP and PCT were significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion The combined use of salbutamol and budesonide nebulization is highly effective for children with asthma and pneumonia.It can alleviate clinical symptoms,improve pulmonary function and inflammatory factor levels,and promote disease recovery.This approach warrants promotion and application.关键词
