Abstract
Over the years,China-Africa pragmatic cooperation in the energy sector has been continuously deepened,achieving remarkable results in energy infrastructure construction,energy trade,upstream,midstream as well as downstream construction of oil and gas sector,green energy development,and energy financial support.At present,China-Africa energy cooperation faces problems such as poor business environment,difficulties in repatriating profits and financing,lagging"soft connectivity",shortage of talents and technology,and strict localization requirements.It also confronts challenges from regional political situations,major power blocs,social security,and resource nationalism,resulting in the complexity,volatility,and uncertainty of China-Africa energy cooperation.With the overall positioning of China-Africa relations elevated to the new-era all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future,future China-Africa energy cooperation should focus on strengthening traditional oil and gas exploration and development,addressing energy poverty,and promoting balanced regional economic development.It should also increase investment in renewable energy to drive energy transition and green development,and jointly address global climate change to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.Both sides should improve the energy cooperation mechanism,deepen pragmatic cooperation in the energy sector,adopt location-specific and targeted policies to promote the development and utilization of energy resources,jointly foster a favorable business environment,and promote talent training and technological exchanges to build a China-Africa energy community with a shared future.关键词
