Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of standardized nursing intervention guided by the Joint Commission Interna-tional(JCI)standards on medication adherence and adverse events in elderly patients with unstable angina pectoris(UA).Methods A total of 74 elderly UA patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from October 2020 to December 2022 were selected and randomly allocated by a random number table to an observation group and a con-trol group, with 37 patients in each group. The control group received routine nursing care, while the observation group re-ceived JCI-standardized nursing intervention. The two groups were compared in terms of medication adherence,psychologi-cal status, quality of life, and incidence of adverse events. Results The medication adherence rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention,Beck Anxiety Inventory(BAI)and Beck Depression Inventory-II(BDI-Ⅱ)scores decreased in both groups compared with pre-intervention levels, and the scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention, the World Health Organization Quality of Life(WHOQOL-100)scores improved in both groups compared with pre-inter-vention scores, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse events was significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion JCI-standardized nursing intervention in elderly patients with UA improved medication adherence and psychological status, enhanced quality of life, and reduced the occur-rence of adverse events.关键词
