Abstract
An increasing number of countries and regions across the world are actively exploring the establishment of carbon market systems that meet their own needs.The development of the global carbon market in 2024 presents such characteristics as the coverage of the global carbon emissions trading system continues to expand,the carbon prices in major global carbon markets have fluctuated,the international carbon credit market has shifted from a crisis of trust to a phase of reshaping,the trend of interconnectivity in the global carbon emissions trading market continues to strengthen.Over the next five years,the global carbon emissions trading system is expected to continue expanding its coverage.There will be significant differences in carbon price forecasts,with the EU carbon market leading the upward trend.Trust in the carbon credit market will gradually recover,and market demands will become more diversified.There will be innovative practices in the carbon tax system and a global diffusion of the carbon tariffmechanism.The paper proposes that China should actively expand the coverage of its national carbon market,improve the carbon price formation mechanism and gradually increase carbon prices,refine the carbon credit system and promote market financialization,study the introduction of a carbon tax and enhance responses to other countries'carbon tariffs,and actively participate in international cooperation to strengthen information sharing.关键词
