Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory nursing guidance in the postoperative nursing of patients undergoing thoracoscopic surgery.Methods Seventy-two patients who underwent thoracoscopic surgery at our hospital be-tween May 2021 and May 2022 were randomly assigned to an observation group(n=36)or a control group(n=36).The control group received routine postoperative nursing,while the observation group received routine nursing plus targeted re-spiratory nursing guidance.Nursing outcomes were compared between the two groups.Results The observation group scored significantly higher than the control group on all subscales of the WHO Quality of Life-BREF(WHOQOL-BREF)scale(P<0.05).Postoperatively,serum procalcitonin(PCT)and inflammatory cytokine levels were significantly lower in the observation group compared to controls(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was also significantly lower than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Implementing respiratory nursing guidance in patients after thoracoscopic surgery effectively improves their quality of life,reduces serum PCT and inflamma-tory markers,and lowers the rate of postoperative complications.This approach merits broader clinical application.关键词
