Abstract
Objective To explore the influence of charge nurses'multidimensional leadership styles on second victims of nurs-ing adverse events,and provide a reference for personalized management in nursing management.Methods A total of 120 nursing staff members with experience of adverse events were randomly selected from the Second People's Hospital of Li-aocheng.General demographic questionnaires,Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire(MLQ),and Second Victim Experi-ence and Support Tool(SVEST)were used for this survey.The impact of charge nurses'multidimensional leadership styles on the experience and support evaluation of second victims of adverse events was analyzed.Results The total score for transformational leadership style in the MLQ scale was(53.85±11.85),which was higher than the score for transactional leadership style(32.81±6.84).The highest score in the SVEST scale was for psychological distress of second victims of adverse events,with an average score of(1.71±0.45)for all items.The charge nurse's charisma,individualized considera-tion,and contingent rewards had predictive effects on the experience and support evaluation of second victims of adverse e-vents.Conclusion Charge nurses'multidimensional leadership styles can influence the experience and support of second vic-tims of adverse events.Charge nurses should pay attention to cultivating leadership qualities with multidimensional leader-ship styles,help nurses recover from the impact of adverse events more quickly,and promote the physical and mental health of nurses and the long-term development of hospitals.关键词
