Abstract
Objective To evaluate the value of auricular point sticking combined with acupoint massage in alleviating preoper-ative anxiety in patients undergoing elective orthopedic surgery.Methods A total of 150 patients scheduled for elective or-thopedic surgery at our hospital were enrolled and randomly divided into three groups:an auricular point group(n=50)re-ceiving auricular point sticking,a massage group(n=50)receiving acupoint massage,and a combined group(n=50)re-ceiving both interventions.The intervention effects were compared among the three groups.Results Before intervention,anxiety scores were similarly high across all three groups(P>0.05).After intervention(on the day of surgery and 3 days post-surgery),anxiety scores significantly decreased in all groups.The combined group exhibited the lowest scores at 3 days post-surgery(P<0.05).Before intervention,sleep quality scores were similarly high across all groups(P>0.05).On the day of surgery,the combined group showed significantly lower scores than the auricular point and massage groups(P<0.05).At 3 days post-surgery,the combined group's scores remained significantly lower than those of the other two groups(P<0.05).No significant difference in satisfaction was observed among the three groups(P>0.05).However,the com-bined group achieved a 100%degree of satisfaction with nursing,which was higher than the auricular point and massage groups.Conclusion Auricular point sticking combined with acupoint massage effectively alleviates preoperative anxiety in patients undergoing elective orthopedic surgery and is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
