Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of breathing exercises with comprehensive nursing in patients undergo-ing thoracentesis.Methods Between September 2022 and September 2023,120 patients who underwent thoracentesis in our hospital were selected and assigned to a control group and a study group(60 each)via draw lots.The control group per-formed breathing exercises,while the study group received comprehensive nursing in addition to the exercises.The degree of satisfaction with nursing,complication rates,pulmonary function,and comfort levels were compared between the groups.Results The study group reported significantly higher degree of satisfaction with nursing and lower complication rates than the control group(P<0.05).Moreover,the study group showed significantly better pulmonary function indices and greater comfort levels compared with the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Breathing exercises in combination with compre-hensive nursing in patients receiving thoracentesis promote pulmonary function and comfort,reduce complications,and boost the degree of satisfaction with nursing,justifying wider recommendation.关键词
