Unidental虚拟仿真系统在口腔牙体窝洞预备实验教学中的应用
Application of the Unidental virtual simulation system in experimental teaching of tooth cavity preparation

Abstract
Objective To analyze the teaching effectiveness and characteristics of the Unidental virtual simulation system when applied to tooth cavity preparation.Methods Sixty junior college students majoring in stomatology at North Sichuan Medical College were randomly assigned to two groups of 30 each.The control group trained on Class II cavity preparation of the lower right first molar using a Kavapractic plastic tooth mounted on a conventional mannequin head.The experimental group trained on the same cavity preparation in real-time using the Unidental virtual simulation system.Both groups under-went practical skill assessments on the conventional mannequin head before and after training.Pre-and post-training assess-ment scores and operation times were compared between groups.Results Both groups showed statistically significant im-provement in assessment scores and reductions in operation times at the second versus the first assessment(P<0.05).The experimental group's post-training scores were significantly higher,and their operation times significantly shorter,than those of the control group(P<0.05).Questionnaire results indicated that students in the experimental group highly en-dorsed both the evaluation model and the training modality of the Unidental system.Conclusion The Unidental virtual sim-ulation system effectively strengthens students'proficiency in tooth cavity preparation and shortens preparation time,dem-onstrating clear advantages in experimental teaching of cavity preparation.关键词
