Professor WANG Daokun's clinical experience in treating chronic atrophic gastritis with associated symptoms using the"Yimu Futu"(抑木扶土)method
摘要
Abstract
This study aims to summarize and analyze the clinical experience of professor WANG Daokun in treating chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)with associated symptoms using the"Yimu Futu"(抑木扶土:calming the liver's excessive energy and strengthening the spleen's digestive and assimilative functions)therapeutic approach.Professor WANG has developed this method by considering the differences in the nature of deficiency and excess,the relationship between root causes and symptoms,and the urgency of CAG with associated symptoms.The ap-proach emphasizes holistic treatment with a focus on syndrome differentiation.It also takes into account the unique characteristics of associated symptoms.Professor WANG frequently employs empirical formulas such as Huayu Xiao-pi Decoction(化瘀消痞汤),Shugan Hewei Decoction(疏肝和胃汤),and modified Dunhuang Shishi Dabao Cap-sules(敦煌石室大宝胶囊)to treat CAG accompanied by gastric mucosal erosion,bile reflux,weight loss,and mal-nutrition,achieving remarkable outcomes.Three representative case studies are provided to validate the effectiveness of this method.关键词
