中国老年人群ARC患病影响因素探究
Investigation of factors influencing the prevalence of age-related cataracts among Chinese elderly population

Abstract
Objective To analyze the prevalence of age-related cataracts(ARC)among Chinese individuals aged 60 and a-bove,identify modifiable risk factors,and provide references for improving cataract prevention and treatment strategies,as well as delaying disease incidence and progression.Methods Data were sourced from the 2018 China Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey(CLHLS).Chi-square tests were used for inter-group comparisons of unordered categorical data,rank-sum tests for ordered categorical data,and binary logistic regression analysis for identifying factors influencing ARC preva-lence.Results A total of 4,174 elderly individuals were surveyed,with 1,073 self-reporting ARC,resulting in a detection rate of 25.71%.Binary logistic regression analysis revealed that females(OR=1.23,95%CI:1.01-1.49),individuals aged 76-90 years(OR=1.83,95%CI:1.48-2.27)and≥91 years(OR=2.16,95%CI:1.65-2.82),those using kitchen exhaust fans during cooking(OR=1.52,95%CI:1.09-2.12),individuals with glaucoma(OR=5.34,95%CI:3.45-8.27),hypertension(OR=1.45,95%CI:1.24-1.70),and dyslipidemia(OR=2.39,95%CI:1.80-3.18)were more likely to have ARC.Conversely,ethnic minorities(OR=0.62,95%CI:0.42-0.90),rural residents(OR=0.78,95%CI:0.63-0.97),individuals with a farming occupation history(OR=0.55,95%CI:0.32-0.93),and those repor-ting average(OR=0.60,95%CI:0.48-0.75)or good sleep quality(OR=0.62,95%CI:0.50-0.77)were less likely to have ARC.Conclusion Maintaining a healthy lifestyle,minimizing exposure to environmental risk factors,and preven-ting other chronic non-communicable diseases may help prevent the occurrence and progression of ARC.Simultaneously,it can effectively improve the quality of life of early ARC patients.关键词
