摘要

Abstract

Chronic wounds(CWs)are non-healing wounds caused by a combination of factors,including microcirculatory dysfunction and persistent inflammation,posing significant challenges in its clinical management.Studies had demonstrated that lymphangiogenesis plays a critical role in the healing of CWs by promoting interstitial fluid drainage,reducing the accumulation of inflammatory cells,and accelerating the clearance of metabolic waste products.Current research highlighted the close relationship between lymphangiogenesis and the pathophysiology of CWs.Particularly in diabetic foot ulcers,impaired lymphatic function is considered a major contributor to poor healing outcomes.The regulatory mechanisms of lymphangiogenesis involve multiple path-ways and targets,including autophagy,inflammasome-mediated nonspecific immune responses,and molecules such as Tie recep-tors,LYVE-1,CCBE1,lncRNA-GAS5,miR-181a,and VEGF-C.Furthermore,modulating the activity of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells offers novel therapeutic strategies for CWs.Future research should focus on multifactorial interventions targeting CWs,aiming to advance the application of lymphangiogenesis in the treatment of chronic wound healing and foster its clinical application.
