Research Hotspot Analysis and Future Prospects of Compound Dry-heat Events

Abstract
In recent years,global compound dry-hot events have increasingly impacted the ecological environment,human health,and urban development.Recent research progress in Central Asia,as demonstrated by the work of the Xinjiang Insti-tute of Ecology and Geography,has shown an increasing trend in compound dry-hot events,which is crucial for guiding future research and mitigating their disastrous impacts.Relevant papers from Web of Science and CNKI,analyzed using Citespace V and literature review,served as data sources.this study summarizes the current research focus and methods on compound dry-hot events both domestically and internationally.It examines the issues in data and methodologies employed in research on compound dry-hot events,and delves into novel concepts for future studies on these phenomena.The results show that Euro-pean and American countries have the greatest comprehensive influence in research on compound dry-hot events.Although China has published a large number of papers,its influence needs to be enhanced.Existing research on compound dry-hot events mainly focuses on their impacts on agriculture,forestry,human settlements,and human health,as well as event mech-anisms and urban adaptation strategies.However,defining and measuring compound dry-hot events,identifying their charac-teristic elements,and analyzing driving mechanisms pose challenges.Future research should focus on adopting multi-source data,refining the temporal scale,and improving three-dimensional identification techniques for extreme events through empir-ical research to better extract characteristic variables.At the same time,it is necessary to reveal the mechanism of driving fac-tors,especially the dependencies and interactions between them.关键词
