中国居民收入极化测度及比较
Measurement and comparison of income polarization of Chinese residents
摘要
Abstract
Based on the improved Wolfson income polarization index(WOG Index),data from the China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)from 2010 to 2020 were used to measure and analyze the income polarization of Chinese residents from the perspectives of income grouping and regional grouping,and the empirical results were compared with current achievements.The results show that the WOG index has excellent properties and can measure the income polarization of data from two or more groups,which supplements and improves the traditional measurement method of dividing data into two groups based on median income;using the improved Wolfson index,it is estimated that there is a relatively weak downward trend in the overall income polarization of Chinese residents,and the polarization situation is more pronounced when divided by geographical location of the eight major regions compared to when divided by urban and rural areas;compared with existing research in China,it was found that the WOG index covers a wider range and is more detailed.关键词
