Abstract
As a common navigation structure,during the operation of the upper and lower lock heads of a ship lock,the flow conditions in the water conveyance corridor are relatively complex.To address the limited research on pressure characteristics in water conveyance corridor,this study uses physical model experiments to measure pressure at typical sections of the water conveyance corridor.The experimental results show that:(1)Under all working conditions,the pressure at the top of the water conveyance corridor meets the requirements of the specifications.Moreover,the greater the water head difference between the upstream and downstream,the more significant the influence on the pressure change;(2)Under various working conditions of the water conveyance corridor at the upper lock head,the pressure at measuring point#1 varies significantly.Under the maximum forward water head condition at the lower lock head,the pressure at measuring point#5 changes greatly,while under other working conditions,the pressure at measuring point#8 shows a large variation.关键词
