Abstract

The research and development of a 600 km/h high-speed maglev train is an important step for the advancement of high-speed maglev systems towards higher-speed commercial applications.Although the high-speed maglev train has completed demonstration of the spatial relationship between the low-speed dynamic test track and the rail,many key indicators still need to be verified by a speed test.In this regard,the construction of a long-distance test line has become a bottleneck restricting the development of high-speed maglev systems.By using the Shanghai maglev demonstration line,the construction of high-speed maglev trains,the conditions of existing lines,system configuration,and other aspects are analyzed,and the feasibility of the 600 km/h high-speed maglev train is tested on the Shanghai maglev demonstration line.The transmission and reception of communication data between the vehicle and ground and the optimization of the train operation control system are realized via simulation.The results showed that it is economically feasible to conduct a 600 km/h high-speed maglev train test on the demonstration line,and the innovative design of the operation control system provides a framework for designing the speed tests of high-speed trains in the future.
