Summary of the evidence for postoperative physical activity in patients with deep inferior epigastric perforator

Abstract
Objective:To search and summarize the evidence of postoperative physical activity in patients undergoing breast reconstruction with deep inferior epigastric perforator(DIEP),providing references for medical staff to effectively guide postoperative physical activity and facilitate patient recovery.Methods:All relevant literature were searched across databases on the postoperative physical activity in patients undergoing breast reconstruction with DIEP,including guidelines,clinical decision-making documents,systematic reviews,Meta analyses,evidence summaries,expert consensuses and high-quality original studies.The search period spanned from the database establishment to November 30,2024.After the evaluation of literature quality,evidence extraction and summary were carried out for the literature that met the quality standards.Results:A total 14 articles were included,comprising 6 guidelines,4 systematic reviews,1 Meta analysis,2 expert consensuses and 1 randomized controlled tria.Finally,these formed a collection of 27 best evidence items across 8 categories:preoperative activity assessment,breast-related exercises,shoulder functional exercises,abdominal exercises,leg exercises,activity effect evaluation,importance of activity,and precautions.Conclusion:This study summarized the best evidence on postoperative physical activity for DIEP breast reconstruction patients.It was recommended that medical staff should formulate scientific postoperative physical activity programs based on the practical conditions.关键词
